Sell Sheet

Alesya Bags Sell SheetAfter hiring Jim, one of the sales tools he asked for was a Sell Sheet (pictured above).  I’ve done these at other organizations – at ePrize we called it a one sheeter – and it is a useful tool.  The trick is to decide what information REALLY needs to be on there and what can be left off.  There will always be a pull between readability and amount of text.

After a bit of back and forth this is what we came up with.  You can download the full PDF if you want to read it word for word.  While I still contend my demo video is my best sales tool I wanted to post this sheet so you could see what else we’re using.  I’m sure many of you use similar marketing materials.

  1. Great collateral, Alesya! Very excited for your progress … (And agree that your video is your best sales tool). 🙂

  2. Alesya says:

Thanks Ashely! I’m working on it. And as soon as the samples come in I’ll be calling you for a new video. Although I may need a new “actress” this time! (Post baby…good times.)

I’m guessing “stylist” should be “stylish” on the sell sheet?

I was one of the recent purchasers of your bag – I’m loving it! It’s my first bag purchase at this price point, but I think the investment will be worth it. I’ve gotten so many compliments, and so far it’s so much better than carrying a purse and a separate laptop bag. (the only downside is that my cat thinks it’s an enemy and so I must keep it out of his reach…)

Hi Haley – You are right! Amazing how you can look at something 1000 times and not catch these things.

I’m so happy to hear you love the bag and are getting compliments. That is fantastic!

Watch out for your cat! Sometimes my daughter tries to drag my bag across the floor and I freak out for a second.

Love the demo video! I can’t wait until your new bags come out! I want to buy one sooo bad!!!

  5. Alesya says:

Thanks Caity! Ashley from The Modern Connection here in Charleston created it for me. You can find her company here:

I can’t wait either! Thank for for REALLY wanting one. That’s such a big deal to me!

  6. Caity says:

Do you have any ideas as to when the bags will go on sale? I’m so excited to see what colors you chose!

  7. Caity says:

One other question I have is: I have a 15″ MacBook pro and I have a case on it. Do you think it will still fit in your laptop pocket? It’s a hard shell Speck case

    • Alesya says:

I do think it will fit, but it will be snug. When you first get the bag it will be tight but the leather will loosen up a bit as you use it. It’s the trade-off between having a roomy pocket or a reasonably sized bag.

I used a hard case too! Incase. But I have looked at Speck’s.

      • Caity says:

        Perfect! Thank you!

The satin finish Speck cases are awesome! They have a little grip to them and everybody I know who has them loves them! I definitely love mine! If you do get one just know the colors are darker then they appear on the website. For example the lighter purple one really looks like the darker purple one in reality.

  8. Alesya says:

Hmmmm….I am seriously considering one. This one you described looks nice:

    Or perhaps raspberry?

I wish I liked this bitsy floral more, but it’s a maybe!

  9. Kristi says:

It looks great. I was going to write about the stylist -> stylish comment, but see that someone else already caught it. One more thing, the 3rd comment on the bottom left box is missing punctuation at the end (all others have it). Congrats on your baby girl. Can’t wait to see the new bags.
