While keeping an eye on the bag market, PVC keeps popping up. But for very different reasons.

IDEA:  HIGHLIGHT PRODUCT SOLUTION, NOT JUST PRODUCT

In 2012, Truffle Co. introduced stylish TSA compliant clear pouches.  Airport security never looked better.

Chanel’s 2018 S/S collection showed PVC bags as pure fashion.  The larger tote reveals and highlights their iconic quilted bags.

 

 

Just last month Gigi NYC  debuted it’s Game Day collection.  Available in only this neutral leather, they are specifically for college games (hello – Game Day) in large stadiums with a clear bag policy.  Gigi NYC should send one to Sister Jean to match her Prayer Force Ones.

HOW YOU CAN USE THIS IDEA

  1. When you’re promoting a food- even a food as good as chocolate – find your specific reason.  Your client will reach for something different if they are hungry, happy, or the Easter Bunny.
  2. One destination can mean different things to different visitors.  Here in Charleston our city is marketed as a foodie destination, a step back in time and beach vacation.
  3. Fitness companies know everyone has different goals at the gym.  When I started Crossfit it was because I was sick of the message to lose weight.  Getting stronger was a much more exciting idea.  Three years later I’m still paying my monthly dues so I can lift my suitcase easily into the overhead bin.
